San Antonio Information ...
San Antonio is the nation's eighth largest city and one of the leading cultural and trade centers of Texas and the southwest. According to the San Antonio Development Foundation, San Antonio is the 2nd largest city in Texas and has a population of 1,537,900 people. Its area encompasses more than 400 square miles and in spite of it's size, maintains the warmth and friendliness of a much smaller town. Our cultural heritage can be experienced during annual events, such as: | | February's San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, if you ever miss cold weather, try the rodeo's kick off "cowboy breakfast". Traditionally the weather is cool and damp for this event. Not even the weatherman knows why. | | | Fiesta San Antonio, a 10 day April event with parades, parties, and pageantry. | | | The Texas Folklife Festival, a 4 day festival honoring the city's wonderful ethnic & cultural diversity, held on the grounds of the Institute for Texan Cultures in June. | | | In November, we have the annual Riverwalk Christmas Lighting where our Christmas parade "floats" really do float! |
There is always something fun to do in this amazing, historic city. Entertainment opportunities abound. For sports enthusiasts, | | We have the San Antonio Missions, a Class AA Texas League baseball team (I must admit this is one of my favorites-especially the mascot- The Puffy Taco) | | | San Antonio also has a minor league hockey team -The San Antonio Rampage | | | Go Spurs Go! 4 time NBA championship basketball team -The San Antonio Spurs. | | | Golfers can play year round on one of the many exceptional golf courses located in the area. |
While one family member golfs, another may try shopping. Just don't try to do it all in one day! | | La Cantera, The Alamo Quarry, North Star, and Rivercenter Mall are among the favorites. | | | Outlet shopping is just a few miles north in New Braunfels and San Marcos. |
Music lovers can delight in the San Antonio Symphony, and offerings from country to jazz to rock to mariachis are available for your listening enjoyment in venues from small clubs to major events in the Alamodome. The Botanical Garden brings you "Concerts Under the Stars" and also "Shakespeare in the Park" (sponsored by ARTS! San Antonio), both with free admission. | | Sea World, Fiesta Texas, and Splashtown are all terrific amusement parks for all ages. |
There are theatre performances from local performing groups to major national touring groups. With its many galleries and museums, San Antonio has become a major arts destination. It all begins from the moment you arrive at the concourses of San Antonio's International Airport where The Airport Art Spaces Program has opened galleries in the terminals. The Southwest School of Arts & Craft galleries specialize in exhibiting contemporary, handcrafted works of art. Nearby, the San Antonio Museum of Art is a perfect place to gain a perspective on the multicultural forces at work in this city. If all this is making you hungry, don't worry, you'll no doubt find your favorite chain restaurants here, however, don't miss the opportunity to try the local cuisine. Fabulous restaurants are located all over the city, and while we have some of the best Tex-Mex around, you can find excellent restaurants serving all national and international tastes and budgets. San Antonio is truly a unique city, and one that I am proud to call home - someday, you might also say "I wasn't born in San Antonio but I got here as fast as I could." It's our job to know EVERYTHING about San Antonio! Ask us any question. Or request a FREE information package. There's no obligation, and we promise to get back to you quickly...

Some things are hard to measure, and others are easy. Success in a real estate sale is easy. It occurs when the "SOLD" sign is in your front yard. And having that occur as quickly as possible is the goal of every real estate agent and every home seller.
You have undoubtedly heard that old saying about the "hard way" and the "easy way" to do something. The hard way to get the "SOLD" sign up is to try and sell it yourself. The easy way is to use the services of a real estate sales professional, someone who is not only trained to get it sold, but to get as much for your home as the market will bear.
Remember, the agent doesn't get paid until your home is "SOLD". And the amount they earn in commission is dependent upon the amount of the sale. That's a lot of genuine motivation to do the job right. Save yourself headaches and frustration when you are ready to sell--call a professional real estate agent.
